Can I cook with heat treated wood?
Are chemicals used to treat your wood? Our wood is all natural, safe to burn, and safe to cook with. The treating method referred to on our label is Heat treated. Heat treating refers to the method of drying wood with heat in kilns to control the spread of invasive insects.
What wood can you not cook food on?

Dried hardwoods, fruitwoods, and nut woods, are the best for cooking. Softwoods such as pine, redwood, fir, cedar and cypress are not ideal for cooking because they contain terpenes and sap.
Can you cook food over wood?
